Tri Nations 2011. Australia vs South Africa review.

Tri Nations 2011.
Australia vs South Africa
Sydney.
23 July 2011.

The Wallabies and the Springboks opened the Tri-Nations 2011 for everyone.

South Africa were poor on defense and attack. They struggled to keep possession and had shocking communication. Ruan Pienaar made stupid and selfish decisions and messed even those up. The few world cup capable players in the squad were shocking. Morne Steyn did nothing right and when Pat Lambie came on the game completely change around with the Boks running in two tries.

Australia was still not up to scratch. The handling was sloppy and poor commitment was noticable. They managed to find the many gaps in the Boks defense and Will Genia often made it easy for support players to score. James O'Connors kicking was top notch and help build up momentum for the entire team.

I thought John Smit played very well and managed to finish the game…SO well done to him!
Chilliboy Ralapele cam on at hooker whilst John Smit moved to prop. He managed to score on of the two tries for the Boks of a maul.

FINAL SCORE: AUS 39-20 RSA
