Tri Nations 2011. Australia vs South Africa review.

Tri Nations 2011.
Australia vs South Africa
Sydney.
23 July 2011.

The Wallabies and the Springboks opened the Tri-Nations 2011 for everyone.

South Africa were poor on defense and attack. They struggled to keep possession and had shocking communication. Ruan Pienaar made stupid and selfish decisions and messed even those up. The few world cup capable players in the squad were shocking. Morne Steyn did nothing right and when Pat Lambie came on the game completely change around with the Boks running in two tries.

Australia was still not up to scratch. The handling was sloppy and poor commitment was noticable. They managed to find the many gaps in the Boks defense and Will Genia often made it easy for support players to score. James O'Connors kicking was top notch and help build up momentum for the entire team.

I thought John Smit played very well and managed to finish the game…SO well done to him!
Chilliboy Ralapele cam on at hooker whilst John Smit moved to prop. He managed to score on of the two tries for the Boks of a maul.

FINAL SCORE: AUS 39-20 RSA

Tri Nations 2011. Australia vs South Africa preview.

Tri Nations 2011.
Australia vs South Africa
Sydney.
23 July 2011.

The kick-off to the Tri-Nations is between South Africa and Australia.

Australia will go into the game determined after their 32-23 defeat to Samoa. Although Samoa are a team not to be underrated it has been called an "upset" so Australia will be looking to prove themselves.
There is speculations on both camps. In the Australian camp the main contreversy is of dropping Utility back, Matt Gitteu.
Will Genia and Quade Cooper proved in the Super Rugby season that they can be a deadly combination. Although Quade Coopers kicking could result quite badly during the clash.
James O'Connor is back from injury and, although form always drops after injury, he is always a deadly player on the wing and the young Western Force player is a man to keep your eye on.

South Africa's so called "B" team will be going out to prove that they are worth "A" team material. In my opinion it is a "B" team and very cleverly done so. Peter De Villiers obviously has his idea of his Rugby World Cup squad and is giving oppurtuities to the possible to prove themselve. Ruan Pienaar is at scrum half which is disastraus is he is most likely the worst South AFrican scrum half.

I am putting my money on Australia as it seems unlikely that the Boks will be able to pull off a win.
The Bookies have given the South Africa an 8 point start for this match - with an offer of Bet 10 and Get 20 in Bets. We think the Springboks will be a little cold this week and the Wallabies will win relatively comfortably. Wallabies to win by 12.

Springbok to a Protea

SARU has been slowly transitioning the Springbok Emblem to the Proteas. They started this off by implementing the Protea symbol to the jersey. Now they have taken the Springbok Emblem off the front of the Jersey and put it on the right sleeve. I support the Springboks, not the Proteas and will refuse to do so!!!!
To prove my point here is a "quotation" from Invictus:

Mandela:

Brothers, sisters, comrades, I am
here because I feel strongly that you made a decision today without sufficient information or foresight.
I am aware of your earlier vote. I
am aware that it was unanimous.
Nonetheless, I propose that we restore the Springboks. Restore their name, their emblem and their colors, immediately.
Let me tell you why ...
... on Robben Island, in Pollsmoor
Prison, my jailers were all Afrikaners.
For twenty seven years, I studied them. I learned their language, I read their history, I read their poetry. I had to know my enemy, in order to prevail against him.
And we prevailed, did we not? All of us here ... we prevailed.
Our enemy is no longer the
Afrikaner. They are our fellow South Africans, our partners in democracy.
And they treasure Springbok rugby.
If we take that away, we lose them. We prove that we are what they feared we would be.
We have to be better than that.
We have to surprise them with
compassion, with restraint, and generosity
This is the time to build our nation using every single brick available to us - - even if that brick comes clothed in green and gold.

If you Take away the Springbok you take away Two world cups AND A NATIONS PRIDE
Black and white!
